~ From Eli Suddarth - Director of Worship & Discipleship
My wife Katie and I celebrated our third anniversary this year making us relative newly-weds still. In our first three years of marriage we have experienced nearly every high and low marriage counselors site as common for young couples: financial issues, r
adical job changes, moving, more financial issues, spiritual connectedness, moving again, and many more. Without a doubt I can point to our relationship with Jesus as the glue that has held us together in our toughest moments, and has been the mountain top from which we rejoice in our triumphs. Without Him our relationship would not be what it is today, and without the positive Christian influences in our community encouraging that relationship it would have been easy for us to fall away. Couples need Jesus, and couples need their community to help them know and love Jesus more.
Saturday October 15th River V
alley will be sponsoring a Couples’ Seminar at the offices of Associates in Family Care downtown Aurora for those seriously dating, engaged, recently married or remarried. Dr. Doug McKinley Psy.D will facilitate the program running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $60 per couple which includes all materials and lunch.
This is a great opportunity for you or someone you know to deepen their relationship with each other and with God, so please consider joining us there or inviting another you know would benefit from such a program.
To register, call Associates in
Family Care at 630.983.0600 or visit www.associatesinfamilycare.com to learn more.
For more information regarding all the ways we as a church invest in relationships, give me a call at the office 630.844.9115. Thanks.
Eli
